Hey people this is my first News Post, as one of the 3 new News Managers. Anyway enjoy.

Apparently Shigeru Miyamoto-almighty creator of the Zelda and Mario series’-was recently interviewed by the Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu. In the article Miyamoto-san says that a direct sequel to the smash hit for the Wii, Super Mario Galaxy may be released in the next 2-3 years. Not being fluent in Japanese I couldn’t read the original article but my friend who-lucky for you-has a subscription to Famitsu, translated part of the article for me, where Miyamoto said in response to a question, “I think it would be good if the world saw a Galaxy sequel in the next 2 or 3 years,” (or something to that affect).

In only somewhat related news, Sega and Headstrong Games, have announced that a new House of the Dead game wil be released, exclusively for the Wii. House of the Dead: Overkill, takes us back to the very beginning of the series, when Secret agent “G” has just graduated from the academy. According Headstrong Games, the game is going to have tons of new features, including the ability to pistol whip zombies who have space issues, and use the butt of a shotgun to smash open their skulls. According to the trailers (which can be found on Youtube) House of the Dead: Overkill, is going to “pay homage to the pulp horror comics and films that inspired generations of gore fans,” in early 2009.
