It’s the beginning of October, and that means that Tri Force Heroes is less than a month away. Since the game is due to release at the end of the month, more information is being released about the gameplay of this highly anticipated spin-off.

Nintendo 3DS’ UK YouTube page recently uploaded a video that briefly overviews some of the exciting features that we can expect during gameplay. The costume crafting, online, and nearby gameplay are just some of the fun things that players can expect out of the game.

Although Nintendo’s trailer did not go into much detail about the multiplayer functionality of the game, IGN recently had some hands-on with Tri Force Heroes and was able to elaborate a bit more on this topic. It’s safe to say that one of the coolest features of the game will be Download Play.

The best thing about Download Play and Tri Force Heroes is that you’ll be able to play with friends who do not own a copy of the game. You can team up during the three-player campaign mode but, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in the PvP zone dubbed ‘The Coliseum’. That being said, if you do not own a copy of the game, Download Play will actually save a copy of your gameplay data, including any resources and outfits crafted, and will transfer right over to your own copy of the game once you pick it up.

Now, obviously I’m a huge Zelda fan, however, I’m a bit torn on actually picking up this game until I can try it out myself. I’ve had every iteration of the 3DS, but I’ve never used Download Play. The functionality of this feature in Tri Force Heroes may be a huge selling point for gamers like myself who are on the fence about purchasing the game. I’ll definitely be bothering some friends of mine to try Download Play!

Tri Force Heroes is set to release in North America on October 23.

Personally I prefer more complicated games, not just flash ones. I especially like management games, but most of them are played by kids. I want something adult. I found this one: http://bit.ly/1VxBGzl. Have you played it? Do you know more games like it?”
