The annual online event Zelda Creator Con returns once again this year, and it begins this weekend to host over 150 creators of Legend of Zelda themed artistic works. Conceptualized by Joel Siegel and other volunteers behind the Linktober event, the Zelda Creator Con runs from June 5th – 7th, 2026 and is hosting many kinds of creators from artists to vendors to cosplayers and streamers and even voice actors and musicians. The entire event is hosted online through a website and the entrance fee is only $1.00, but the site itself will remain open for two more weeks so participants can take their time and have fun exploring all the different vendors and things to do.
Patrons can visit Zelda Creator Con by purchasing tickets to the virtual show here: https://linktober.eventbrite.com/
“We have streaming, quizzes and games, performances, live art, panels, Q & As, and much more. This show celebrates diversity in art, skills, and world cultures through the common ground of The Legend of Zelda, and all being able to come together online in one place,” says Joel.
“Linktober’s Zelda Creator Con is from June 5 – 7 on Linktober.com, but attendees get access to the show site for at least 2 more weeks after the show so there is no rush to go through all the markets and creators in a hurry, enjoy the programming, and come back to learn more over those two weeks.”
In addition to this year being The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary, it’s Linktober’s 10th anniversary, too. “We will have special calendars this year that will release in August, and a large scale community project in order to celebrate. Linktober is the daily Zelda art event of October,” says Joel. The fan art event has now grown to 8,000 participants worldwide online and across social media.
