Player who beat Breath of the Wild at Switch 2 demo has played the Age of Imprisonment demo

Attendants at the 2025 Tokyo Game Show are making their rounds at the game demo booths, which include a simple but snazzy display at the Koei Tecmo booth featuring Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. One of those attendants is none other than Ikabozu, the Japanese fellow who managed to beat Calamity Ganon and trigger the ending in the Breath of the Wild: Switch 2 Edition demo at a Switch 2 console presentation event.

Ikaboze was the player who went viral when he beat Calamity Ganon and triggered the Breath of the Wild ending at a Switch 2 Experience demo.

While Ikaboze didn’t make it to Ganondorf this time around, he did complete the demo fast enough that he managed to get a special screen on his first try that said “Thank you for playing!” at the end. “The combo of weak and strong attacks was displayed in real-time and was super easy to understand,” says Ikaboze on social media. “The finishing move for mid-bosses is super cool.” Booth attendants gave him a decorative file with the Age of Imprisonment box art and logo as a reward. The demo segment contained a sample of Hyrule Warriors style gameplay with Rauru, Princess Zelda, and Mineru navigating the Depths while fighting Constructs and monsters. You can see some of the gameplay action as well as what the decorative file looks like on Ikaboze’s YouTube Channel below.

Attendants are already reporting positive reception with the Age of Imprisonment demo. Even with just limited glimpses of the game, it’s clear that Age of Imprisonment runs smooth and seamless compared to its predecessors. The visuals are so gorgeous and on-point with Tears of the Kingdom, you almost forget you’re looking at a Musou-style game. We’re excited to give you an in-depth report on the Age of Imprisonment demo when it comes to PAX Australia 2025!
