An announcement was made today that Koei Tecmo’s demo booths for Nioh III and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment have both won the “Future Division” award at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. This highly sought after award is won by a popularity vote. One look at the elaborate booths, and you can see why they won.
Excitement is quickly building up with Age of Imprisonment’s impressive visuals, continuity with Tears of the Kingdom, and smooth frame rate. Both Musou – style hack-and-slash action games are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 very soon. Age of Imprisonment is scheduled for worldwide release on November 6, 2025. Nioh III is slated for worldwide release on February 2026.
