On September 10, Nintendo confirmed through their mobile app Nintendo Today! that there will be a Nintendo Direct scheduled to air live this Friday September 12. Nintendo of America verified the same on X and specified that the Direct would air 6am PT and will contain a full hour of pure Nintendo goodness.
This much-anticipated Direct is a confirmation of the same from insider sources as well as the hopes of many fans. It comes on the waves of fresh patents being filed from the Big N that seem to contain a second screen accessory for the Switch 2. Will 3DS games come to Nintendo Switch Online? What will be shown this time is anyone’s guess, but the length could very well mean that something huge is on the horizon. Will there be a special 40th Super Mario anniversary planned? Will we see more Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment? Or perhaps a teaser for an entirely new Zelda game? Whatever it may be, we’ll be here to tell you everything and anything about Zelda.
