With so many options to play on the Nintendo Switch 2, it’s a great time to be a Zelda fan. Now that you can clad your Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) account with official icon art from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Ocarina of Time, you’ll have yet another excuse to show off your Hyrulean nerd prowess to your friends. (Muster your Zelda timeline debates wisely.)
The icons feature nostalgic pixel sprites from Zelda II as well as classic official art featuring the characters we all love from Ocarina of Time. NSO members will only need to have an active play file from either game in the NSO application for the Nintendo 64 and NES to be able to obtain the icons, respectively. If you don’t have an active file, you can simply boot up either of the games and progress just enough to create a save file for it to count. From there, go to the Nintendo Switch Online application on the Switch 2 or Switch consoles to download the icons. They cost 10 Platinum Points each, a reasonable deal if you’re already an active NSO member. The icons are available now until June 30, 2025.
