Fans discover other voices in Zelda Notes app sneak-peaks

No detail too small can ever get past a Zelda fan. It appears that other characters will make an appearance – or should we say “hear-ance” – on the upcoming Zelda Notes smartphone app. This app will be available alongside the launch of the Switch 2 console and the Switch 2 Editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Zelda Notes is not required to play either of the Switch 2 Editions, but it will function as a GPS of sorts with a place to jot down handy notes and finally put those pesky Korok seeds on the map. It will also provide more content goodies such as mapped areas where you can hear voice memories from Princess Zelda.

If you’ve watched the Switch 2 presentations you probably already know this. But now, new video clips from the official Legend of Zelda social media pages are posted where astute fans are seeing spots on the map with Master Kohga’s icon and King Rauru’s too. Could more voice acted characters besides Princess Zelda be featured with memories of their own? It’s a very real possibility. With Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment coming out later this year, it’s clear that we’re not done yet with the Era of the Wild, folks. Fans are hoping to see more of that game in Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice special coming up on Tuesday.

The official Legend of Zelda socials also released new content showcasing a way for players to share their saved UltraHand auto builds with QR codes on the Zelda Notes app. This is a great way to spread even more Tears of the Kingdom chaos.

Zelda Notes, the Switch 2 console and the Switch 2 Editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are all scheduled to be released worldwide June 5, 2025. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is planned to be released this winter season.
