Fans spot Link in Super Nintendo World construction

Could this be a sign? Keen-eyed spectators have spotted something legendary in the new Super Nintendo World theme park that’s currently under construction. The park is located within Universal Studio’s Epic Universe park in Orlando, Florida and set to open this year May 22nd. The park’s website currently shows off concepts of the fun new worlds featuring Mario, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi. But now fans are seeing something more. An image of Link is in one of the stain glass looking windows in what appears to be Princess Peach’s castle nearby the park’s entrance. The Link in question appears to be none other than the dashing iteration of the Hero of Twilight from the game Twilight Princess.

Whether Link in a castle window is a sign of more things to come for Super Nintendo World or simply a Legend of Zelda cameo is uncertain, but the excitement is nonetheless gaining traction. With Donkey Kong Country now open in the Super Nintendo World Japan park, the possibility of a Legend of Zelda theme park is finally palpable. The real question is, what worlds and characters within the Zelda franchise would get featured first? While you’re pondering that, just remember not to shoot an arrow through that lovely window because you might get an angry old lady chucking a bomb at you in frustration.
