Tetra’s Treasures: My Nintendo Rewards, Zelda prizes

It’s always a treat when My Nintendo Rewards has a physical Zelda item in the mix. Over the years I’ve collected a decent amount of Zelda prizes that I cherish. My Nintendo Rewards are prizes, either digital or physical, that can be earned by playing various Nintendo apps or by registering new games. This entire concept is extremely similar to Club Nintendo (check out my other article on Zelda Club Nintendo prizes).

There are two types of points: Gold Points and Platinum Points. Gold Points can be obtained through purchasing any game on Switch (physical or digital) and can be redeemed for discounts on future games. Platinum Points can be obtained through various Nintendo apps, including Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Super Mario Run. You collect these points by completing various tasks in these games. Platinum Point prizes include physical prizes along with digital/printable prizes.

The first Zelda My Nintendo Rewards that we’re going to look at is the Skyward Sword HD Acrylic Panel Art. This item comes with a beautiful acrylic artwork piece featuring Link, Fi, and Ghirahim. The art piece has a film over it that I chose to keep on to better preserve it.  A stand is also included to properly display this gorgeous piece. This item was 1,000 Platinum Points and is unfortunately no longer available. There is also an Age of Calamity acrylic art panel that I somehow missed.

The second item is the Age of Calamity notepad. This item features adorable art of Zelda, The Champions, and Hyrule Castle. The notepad is textured and the pages inside feature the designs of The Champions on the bottom. This item was 600 Platinum Points and is unfortunately no longer available. I also included an image of the acrylic Age of Calamity art panel since I mentioned it above.

The next items up are their keychain collections. The first come in a pack of three and were in collaboration with a Splatoon Splatfest in the spring of 2023. They each feature the Triforce splattered in either red, blue, or green ink with two of the triangles decorated in Splatoon themed designs. These keychains are acrylic and each have a protective film over them. Next, is a glow in the dark Tears of the Kingdom rubber keychain. The design of this keychain features the Zonai hand along with other text designs from the game. The neat part about these two items is that they’re still available for redemption (as of June 2024). Both items are 550 Platinum Points.

The most recent keychain set is an Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 acrylic combo. They feature the original box art for both games, which I personally find really cool. They both come with a protective plastic film on them. This item was 500 Platinum Points and is unfortunately no longer available.

The last item on this list came out in June 2024 and is a personal favorite: Nintendo postcards! This item isn’t exclusively Zelda themed, but nonetheless, it’s still a pretty sweet reward. It features four large postcards that each represent four different N64 games: Mario Party 2, Super Mario 64, Pokémon Stadium, and Ocarina of Time. The smaller postcards represent various Game Boy games like Super Mario Land 2, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Kirby’s Dream Land 2, and Metroid Fusion. I keep my postcards in their original packaging with Ocarina of Time facing forward.

These are all of the Zelda themed My Nintendo Rewards that I personally own, so I apologize if I missed any along the way. I can’t wait to see what Zelda themed prizes are available in the future! Hopefully we get some for Echoes of Wisdom
