Good Smile Company released a public image update on their US social media page on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the progress of the highly detailed Figma figurines of Princess Zelda and Ganondorf from Tears of the Kingdom, and it’s going very well. The figure design for both models are finalized and the paint for Ganondorf appears to be finished in his royal Gerudo glory. Princess Zelda holds onto the decayed Master Sword with heartfelt contemplation in the same manner that she does in a cutscene from the game.
“The fearsome Ganondorf & gentle Princess Zelda will join Link in the figma series soon—stay tuned!” says Good Smile in their X / Twitter post on June 21, 2024. Little more is said in the post, indicating that it was likely meant to be a marketing sneak peek to stir up engagement for eager customers. Preorder pricing and release dates are not revealed at this time, but as the post implies, it’s likely that we will hear more information about the figures before the year ends.
