New PROPLICA Master Sword to be released September 2024

Nintendo has announced an official Master Sword replica in collaboration with Bandai Spirits. The announcement was made on their Japanese website for the first anniversary of Tears of the Kingdom, along with a clothing collaboration and soundtrack release. As of right now, preorders for the sword are available in Japan through Tamashii Web for 22,000 yen (about 140 USD), and it will be distributed through Amazon in other countries. The expected shipment date is September 2024.

The replica is based on the Master Sword’s appearance in Tears of the Kingdom. It measures 105 cm (41 inches) and comes with a sheath and adjustable display stand. It also plays sound effects from the Legend of Zelda series and has vibration effects. But what sets the sword apart from other replicas is its ability to play 8 different BGM tracks from across the series’s history. The tracks include the overworld themes from The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening, Ocarina of Time, and The Wind Waker; as well as the main themes from Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.
