Tonite’s Game Awards was full of many surprise guests. One of the most surprising was Gonzo from the Muppets. What was even more surprising was him revealing what game he had fun playing the most and why.
In a hilarious bit, Jeff welcomed on stage Gonzo who came out in a full suit mirroring Jeff in not only attire but speech as well. When asked what games he had been playing he replied, “Lots and lots of Tears of the Kingdom”. Apparently he was absorbed by the Cuccoo side quest in Kakariko Village. If you don’t know, Gonzo has a thing for chickens so this comes as no surprise to fans of the character. The funny part is how he claims he lost track of how many days he spent playing that side quest. “The objective is just, you know, follow the chicken….you don’t have to ask me twice” he claimed. Muppet fans undoubtedly had a good laugh from this. Well, chicken or not, that’s one Muppet that knows quality gaming. Just don’t hit the chickens Gonzo.
