The games schedule is out at last for the annual charitable speedrunning event Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2024, and several list items include impressive runs to look forward to. This time, AGDQ returns in full force as an in-person public event for the first time since the pandemic occurred. The event will take place at the Wyndham Grand hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, PA from January 14 – January 21, 2024. Participants can also watch full coverage of the event on their Twitch Channel live. Donations will be processed through GamesDoneQuick.com throughout the event. All contributions will benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
The Zelda game speedruns will include a Legend of Zelda NES Any% glitchless run by Cantaloupeme; a Medallions run in Ocarina of Time on the Wii Virtual Console by SpittleSan; a special tag-team Majora’s Mask “collect all menu items” run on Wii Virtual Console by Marco8641, morpheus080, popesquidward, and dopezzera; and finally, a Tears of the Kingdom Any% run by the legendary gymnast86 himself.
