As the days before May 12 dwindle to a matter of hours, you can celebrate the countdown New Year’s-style with a neat timer lens Nintendo has created with the help of Snapchat. Called “Adventure Awaits,” the camera lens features artwork from the upcoming game and a real time countdown clock to the midnight release! The lens is also compatible with Facebook and Instagram. Here’s how to get it:
- Open the Snapchat app on your smartphone and look for the Nintendo America Snap profile. Click the profile and select the Adventure Awaits lens.
- Scan the Snap code.
- That’s it! The lens will download into the app instantly. Tap to take a photo with the lens or hold down the button to record a video.
- You can use the lens on Facebook and Instagram by tapping the “Effects” tab on Nintendo America’s profile in those apps to access and share the Effect.
