This past weekend Power, Wisdom, and Courage faced off in Splatoon 3‘s latest Splatfest, and the results are now in! Power took home the gold in a sweeping victory, winning every category.
After centuries of being defeated by Wisdom and Courage, it turns out the only thing Power needed to achieve victory was Shiver and a stunning new design for the King of Evil. Interestingly, this continues the trend of villainous characters winning Splatfest. In the original Splatoon Decepticons defeated Autobots in the Transformers crossover, and in Splatoon 2, Villians won the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate crossover. It is certainly weird how these cute Inklings and Octolings have an affinity for the dark side.
Regardless of the outcome, all three teams fought valiantly this weekend. While Power took every category, all were extremely close. And luckily for Wisdom and Courage, the rematch in Tears of the Kingdom is only a few days away!
