It seems Target may have a bonus item to go with their Tears of the Kingdom purchases after all. Images online revealed a mostly put-together side stack that advertises the game on its side, and it has text that says, “Receive a free Adventure Hip Pack when you purchase The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game only at Target.” Unlike the other add-ons, it appears the bonus hip pack can only be received when shoppers purchase the game in-store on release day. The fine print on the side stack says, “Offer starts 05/12/23 and is available while supplies last. Limit one per purchase. See sales associate at participating location for details.”
The side stack advertisement appears to be legit, as the same offer is now being advertised in Target flyers across the United States. It also advertises The Wind Waker amiibo dual-pack of Toon Link and Toon Zelda. Even more interesting, the flyer reveals that there is a limited stock of the Collector’s Edition that will also be available at Target in-store only, so if the Collector’s Edition is what you’re after this may be an excellent opportunity to snag one.
