The Breath of the Wild Explorer’s Guide is now available to download for free

Attention explorers!

More than six years after its initial launch, Nintendo has released a free, digital version of Breath of the Wild’s Explorer’s Guide. Previously, it was only available as a physical copy through the Explorer’s Edition bundle of the game. Ninety-four pages are currently available to view and download as a PDF from the Zelda website in its entirety.

Well, sort of.

Pages seventy-three through eighty-four, which cover the sections Horsing Around, Hyrule’s Wild Side, Fiercer Foes, The Many Faces of Hyrule, The Four Tribes, and Great Fairy Fountains, appear to have been omitted for some reason, perhaps due to a clerical error. However, you will still find other helpful topics in the guide, including amiibo compatibility and function, battle tips, cooking, and everyone’s favorite pastime – Korok hunting (we know you love it)! However, it’s worth noting that this is not a complete, extensive guide of the game, but more of an expanded manual.

So whether you are new to Zelda and seeking to play Breath of the Wild for the first time or if you’re a more seasoned player looking to refresh your memory before Tears of the Kingdom’s release in May, it’s worth taking a quick peek through the contents, as you might learn a new thing or two from this nifty little guide!
