Just when you thought the hype with Tears of the Kingdom at the Nintendo Direct was over, The Big N decided to pull one more surprise from their sleeve before the live presentation ended. Nintendo announced that customers can buy Breath of the Wild and all of its DLC content on sale through the Nintendo eShop until February 19th 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
The updated Nintendo Store website now says, “Save on the highly acclaimed game and DLC through 2/19 at 11:59 p.m. PT and get ready for the upcoming sequel! You can also use a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher when you pre-order the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game.”
With discounts more than thirty percent off, these savings are phenomenal for a Nintendo game, let alone a console Zelda title to boot. Nintendo’s copy from their website suggests that customers can purchase a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher for $100 USD first, and then use that to purchase both Breath of the Wild and a preorder of Tears of the Kingdom for even more savings! If you somehow haven’t played Breath of the Wild yet, now is the perfect time to take advantage and get ready for whatever Tears of the Kingdom throws at us.
