PowerA is back once again with another Zelda-themed controller for the Nintendo Switch set to release in the next week.
Throughout the lifespan of the Switch, PowerA has released numerous controllers for the console. This includes a slew of Zelda-themed ones like the Triforce and Hylian Shield controller from last year or one from 2019 that features Princess Zelda from Breath of the Wild.
The new controller titled “Link Watercolor” features Twilight Princess Link getting ready to unleash a spin attack. The artwork used on the controller might look familiar as it has frequently been used in the past for things such as GameStop’s poster for the Thirty-Fifth anniversary of the series. But this version has been updated to have a nice watercolor aesthetic.

Functionally, the controller contains all of the buttons on a normal Switch pro-controller and two additional ones on the back. Any button on the controller can be remapped to the buttons on the back, allowing for a more personalized setup. Like the other PowerA controllers, this one will support Gyro controls but not HD Rumble or Amiibos.
The controller was previously released in Europe, but its run in North America will start on August 5 for $54.99.
