Final ‘impossible’ Breath of the Wild chest has been opened, nation breathes a sigh of relief

Even though the game has been out for nearly four years, players are still finding new and exciting things to do in Breath of the Wild. YouTuber Kleric recently released a video detailing how he was able to find and open the final chest in the game.

There have been several “impossible” chests that have been opened in recent months, but this was the most obscure and well hidden. The chest is buried 80 meters below Aris Beach. Not only has it not been opened, but no one has even seen this chest in-game. Essentially, instead of just spawning where it is supposed to, the chest will spawn and then start to sink into the water. On top of that, chests can’t be opened underwater.

So, what’s a gamer to do? Well, Kleric has an in-depth look for you which includes a combination of glitches, item manipulation, good timing, and a very interesting use of runes.

This is some high-level glitching and game-breaking and is incredibly entertaining to watch. And, boy, is the reward worth it or what?
