Breath of the Wild is well known for its subtle soundtrack. Most of it sounds sparse and quiet, reflecting the broken landscape of a bygone era. But much like the ruins we explore in the game, the music too has a story to tell. You just have to know where to look — or in this case, listen.
That’s what Zeltik explores in his latest video as he uncovers hidden musical easter eggs in Breath of the Wild. Some of them are more obvious, while others are well buried. All of them are quite fun to find. It’s remarkable that Zelda’s rich musical heritage of close to 35 years is captured in this game alone. In many ways Breath of the Wild is a love letter to the series itself, which continues to stand in the test of time.
