This is your monthly reminder that, no, there will be no new Switch model ‘anytime soon’

Sometimes it’s just best not to mess with a good thing. As much as we may want it, Nintendo has yet again confirmed in an interview with Bloomberg that there will be no new Switch hardware anytime soon.

Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has previously said that there would be no Switch Pro in 2020 and there are no plans to announce one anytime soon. I keep repeating “anytime soon” purposefully.

However, Nintendo does have the components to continue to make and sell Switch consoles for the time being. So, we can all relax and enjoy the new Mario and Monster Hunter models that are coming out in the next two months.
