Beginning June 30, 2021, Netflix’s services will no longer run on the Wii U or the 3DS. Nintendo already removed Netflix from both eShops on December 31, 2020, meaning new users will be unable to download it. However, existing users may still re-download and use the application until its discontinuation in June.
It is not yet known whether Netflix plans to move its services onto the Switch, despite multiple rumors concerning this possibility. Netflix has supported its services on several Nintendo consoles throughout the years—including the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS—so there is still hope for its transition to the Switch in the future.
