Images of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity ‘Treasure Box’ edition revealed

Following the recent discovery of a special “Treasure Box” edition of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity mentioned on the game’s official Japanese website, the product page has since been updated to include images of the item.

Similar to the original Hyrule Warriors bundle, it comes with a copy of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity along with a few other goodies. A blanket patterned after the Link’s paraglider, an acrylic art plate of the box art, and a metal charm of the adorable “baby” Guardian are all included in the Treasure Box special bundle.

So far, the Treasure Box has only been confirmed for Japanese stores, including the Game City store, the Japanese My Nintendo Store, Geo Online, and Amazon Japan, but like the previous Hyrule Warriors bundle, hopefully that will change in the future. It’s currently priced at 16,720 yen, which is just shy of $160 US dollars. The worldwide release date for Age of Calamity is slated for November 20.

Speaking of bundled goodies, who knows what DLCs could be attached to Age of Calamity in the next coming months. So far, there’s the Lucky Ladle DLC, which becomes available when fans preorder a digital copy of the game. This ladle of hilarious proportions has become somewhat of a meme in the internet community due to Breath of the Wild Link’s voracious appetite and passion for cooking. It’s a weapon that Link can use with a Pot Lid shield, and has the ability to fuse with other weapons for stat boosts.

Link’s Lucky Ladle is available as a DLC with a digital pre-order of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

More information about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be announced by Nintendo on September 26.
