If you were a fan of last year’s surprise Cadence of Hyrule release, the DLC announced earlier this summer was welcome news. The second DLC from the Season Pass, the Melody Pack, is now available.
This pack adds 39 new tracks of remixed music for you to enjoy. These tracks were composed by well known internet favorites FamilyJules, A_Rival, and Chipzel.
Once you’ve downloaded the update, go into the game and pause it. Go to the options, and then sound, and you’ll have an option to change the soundtrack. You go through the main tracks and pick who’s version you would like to have playing in any given place. For example, do you prefer Chipzel’s remix of the Gerudo Desert theme? Simply set Chipzel as your composer for that theme. You can do this for each track, and even specify your playlist to individual characters.
The Melody pack can be bought by itself or as part of the Season Pass on the eShop. There’s also a physical version of Cadence of Hyrule coming out in October that will include all the DLC.
The final pack, Symphony of the Mask, is due next month. This one will contain a new story mode featuring Skull Kid swapping masks.
