Author John Boyne, best known for the holocaust novel, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, included a little something extra in his latest offering: red Lizalfos tail.
A Reddit user found the passage in Boyne’s latest book, A Traveller at the Gates of Wisdom. Then it was picked up and examined on Twitter.
After a quick Google search, it was discovered that Boyne did a quick Google search.
To his credit, Boyne completely owns the flub but doesn’t outright admit that it was lazy writing.
It’s shocking that it passed through enough hands and it wasn’t questioned, but who am I to judge? Perhaps Boyne felt the need to appeal to the Zelda fandom at large.
