Three new DLC packs were announced for Cadence of Hyrule in today’s Nintendo Direct Mini. The first pack is to be released later today, July 20, with the second and third packs slated for release before the end of October.
The first DLC pack, DLC Pack 1: Character Pack, will feature five new playable characters. The characters included will be Impa, Shadow Link, Shadow Zelda, and Crypt of the Necrodancer characters Aria and Frederick. Each character will feature new and unique weapons and abilities.
DLC Pack 2: Melody Pack will add 39 music tracks, with a mix of new songs and remixes of songs from the game. Players will also be given the option to change songs at any time during play.
DLC Pack 3: Symphony of the Mask will feature new story content and Skull Kid as the primary playable character. New maps, music, and gameplay features, such as the Skull Kid’s ability to wear different masks to gain different powers, will be added as well.
A season pass with all three packs will also release later today and will include bonus costumes for Link and Zelda. Additionally, a physical version of the game containing all DLC will be released on October 23.
