Face masks have started to become a necessity in the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. The chances of seeing them being worn in public is extremely high, with some countries declaring them as mandatory. This has of course led to some custom design work, including some based on the Zelda series.
Artist BornTubieHeroes has created a few designs based on Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. These are available on their Etsy store, and they retail for $13 or £11.59. The masks are washable, so will be a worthwhile investment in the long run.
The artist’s Etsy store also features other designs including Star Wars, Marvel, and even various sports teams. Personally, I adore the various Zelda character designs which feature the likes of Link, Midna, and Zelda. If you’re after something unique, there are a bunch of designs to choose from.
BornTubieHeroes isn’t the first artist to introduce some custom mask designs during the pandemic. Other artists have been releasing their own iterations of the facial mask, including designs featuring the Triforce, The Wind Waker, and Breath of the Wild. There is a lot more than I listed here, and you’ll surely find something that suits your taste.
