The Kickstarter campaign created by Anima, an enamel pin designer inspired by fantasy, mythology, and various games, launched on December 17, 2022.
The initial $400 goal was to fund the Fierce Deity Mask, Mask of Truth, and the Keaton Mask, with the remaining masks (including the four bosses) appearing as stretch goals. However, the Deku, Goron, Zora, and Majora’s Mask pins, are only included with the highest tier and a pledge of $250 or more, as they were previously released by Anima. These four are available to purchase at a discount through this Kickstarter and can be found on Anima’s website and Etsy shop.
As of January 3, the project has exceeded its goal with enough funds to create every mask from the game into an enamel pin! To further add to the excitement, Anima has also added a super stretch goal pin based on the Happy Mask Salesman. He will be available as an add-on for $18 to any pledge tier, or automatically for backers who have selected the highest tier which includes every pin.
As for timeline and shipping, the project funding ends mid-January 2023 and reward surveys will be sent out, collected and sorted by the end of January. From there, production will take place around the beginning of February. Shipping is expected to start in March, unless unforeseen delays occur, then April at the latest.
Depending on how high the funding will reach, Anima will continue to add even more stretch goals before the project officially ends on January 16, 2023 at 6:01pm EST. If you are interested in pledging to snag a pin or two, be sure to check out the campaign before it’s too late!
