As we continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Part 5 of “Majora’s Mask: 20th Anniversary Tribute” has now launched. This project features a video series, hosted on our YouTube channel, containing fully-voiced cutscenes, re-mastered music & covers of the original soundtrack. The dub also features newly reanimated cutscenes by MajorLink.
Part 5 of this video series is now available to watch, which focuses on the events centered around Great Bay of Termina. Link hurries to the ocean and encounters Mikau, who soon meets with a terrible fate. At the expense of his life, Mikau leaves the young hero with a new transformation mask, the Zora Mask, in order to carry on his wish: rescue the Zora eggs from the Gerudo Pirates.
In Part 5, many new and familiar voices can be heard, including voices for the famous Zora Band, the Indigo-Go’s. Featured voice actors include: Brandon Acosta (Mikau), Hannah Hellwig (Lulu, Aveil & Gerudo Pirates), Ryan Hoyle (Evan, Zoras), Dex Manning (Japas), Michael Croisant (Tijo) & Grant Patrizio (Toto). Additional voice talent in Part 5 include: Isabelle Amponin (Gerudo Pirates), John “Lucaricross” Patneaude (Zora), Michael Malconian (Zora), Steven Haydn Bray (Shiro), SomniaVA (Gerudo Pirate), John Doyle (Great Bay Professor) & many more!
Various new covers from the original soundtrack are also featured, such as the Pirate’s Fortress by Skull. All music covers of the complete soundtrack for this project can be found here.
What’s next, then? Part 6 of Majora’s Mask: 20th Anniversary Tribute is set to be released on July 10, focusing on the events of the Canyon in Termina. There will be a live premiere of the new episode at 12pm CT on the Zelda Universe YouTube channel. We hope you continue to enjoy the remainder of our tribute to Majora’s Mask!
