Breath of the Wild has seen its fair share of mods since its release in 2017, with many of them introducing characters from other franchises. We have seen the likes of Luigi and even oddballs such as Shrek and Thomas the Tank Engine. This time around, bounty hunter Samus Aran invades the lands of Hyrule.
YouTuber MK has uploaded a video showcasing a mod from Yainskofso, which is currently a “work in progress.” The Metroid-themed mod features Samus’ signature gunship, which is a replacement for Link’s Master Cycle. A nice inclusion is her Zero Suit outfit, and the Paraglider is even a baby Metroid!
Unfortunately, the video has since been taken down by Nintendo due to copyright issues.
Metroid Prime 4 is probably still far off, but at least we now have some more Metroid content thanks to this mod.
