A talented modder that goes by the username of Waikuteru has managed to give us an experience of the Skyview Temple from Skyward Sword in Breath of the Wild.
Two hundred hours was the amount of time the impressive mod took to be constructed. While there are obviously key differences between Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild, there are neat gameplay adjustments made which make it work. These differences include the absence of equipment such as the Beetle from Skyward Sword, as well as the omission of the glorious Ghirahim.
The Skyview Temple mod is set up similarly to the notorious Eventide Island, starting off with Link in his glorious blue undergarment and no weapons, forcing the player to scavenge for weaponry to overcome the dungeon.
The mod includes unique new music for the dungeon, while the design of the temple is as you would expect from the Wii outing, with a testing final boss and vines that you can climb based on the style of Skyward Sword.
With traditional dungeons not being a fixture in Breath of the Wild, this invited a slither of criticism from some, in an otherwise impeccable title. The mod gives us a taste of dungeons in Breath of the Wild, and it is something that we are sure will be under consideration during development for the upcoming sequel.
