A collection featuring the soundtracks of Link’s Awakening and its 2019 remake has been announced for release in Japan on March 18. With four discs, and over 200 songs, this will run potential buyers ¥4,950.
Each soundtrack will consist of two discs that feature art from their respective versions of the games. Also included is the “Ballad of the Wind Fish” vocal track released for the Link’s Awakening launch commercial. We’re uncertain if that includes all regional versions of the ad. The assumption is that it will only contain the Japanese lyrics, but we will know the details once people begin to receive their copies.
All of this comes in a swanky packaging. Each soundtrack has its own case (with both discs), and they fit into a nice box reminiscent of promo materials used for the remake.
