Narcissa Wright, a long-time speedrunner noted for completing one of the most famous Ocarina of Time runs in less than 20 minutes, is the subject of an upcoming documentary centered around her story and the gaming community as a whole.

“Break the Game: The Documentary” has been in the works for more than two years, and follows Wright’s journey from breaking speedrunning records to living a renewed life as a transgender woman. The Legend of Zelda holds a special place for Wright, and she is currently working to set a new speedrunning record for Breath of the Wild.

“I first saw Ocarina of Time when I was a little kid, it seemed incredibly magical,” said Wright to Zelda Universe via Twitter. “My parents surprised me with an N64 on Christmas. Ocarina of Time [was] such an enormous game to me back then, it was the perfect thing to explore and spend time in. I think the series stayed in my heart since then.”

To get the gaming community involved in the project and to raise additional funds, “Break the Game: The Documentary” is campaigning on Kickstarter, with Zelda-themed rewards for backers. Less than a week remains for the campaign, and the project has already reached more than half of its goal.
