Our summer charity Zelda marathon, ZUthon: Zelda for Eternity, will be held on August 1 – 5 this year, and we’ll be raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The event will begin on Thursday, August 1 at 3.00pm EDT (UTC-4). We’ll be playing Zelda games for 100 hours straight, until we wrap up at 7.00 pm on Monday, August 5.
Over those 100 hours, we’ll be trying to raise as much money as possible for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude aims to fight childhood diseases such as cancer by seeking cures and preventative measures. They focus on both research and treatment and aim to never deny treatment to any child regardless of race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. The money that we raise during ZUthon will help St. Jude to continue their research and ensure that families under their care will never receive a bill for not only their child’s treatment but travel, housing, and food as well.
You’ll be able to watch ZUthon on our Twitch channel. We’ll provide information on how you can donate closer to the event, but please consider putting something aside or saving up to support our fundraiser now. Stay tuned also for details about what we’ll be playing, donation incentives and prizes, and special guests. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
