Nintendo has shared release information and game details for their next mobile game, Dr. Mario World. A modern take on the classic puzzler, Dr. Mario World will task players with clearing the screen of red, blue, and yellow viruses using a set number of colored capsules.
This new iteration features an expanded character roster with individual skills, hundreds of stages, and “many different worlds.” According to the Dr. Mario World’s website, Nintendo will support the game through future updates that will add additional worlds. A versus mode is also supported, and players can exchange stamina-giving hearts to help each other in stage mode.
Android and iOS users can pre-register for the game now through their respective app stores. It’s free to start, and optional in-game purchases will be available. Likely these latter will offer the chance to instantly refill stamina hearts for those who don’t want to wait.
