While almost everything we’ve seen so far in the Link’s Awakening remake has been incredibly faithful to the original source material, it seems that Nintendo is still applying a few subtle-yet-sensible cosmetic changes.
Sale, the owner of Sale’s House of Bananas on Toronbo Shores, has been given a notable furniture upgrade. In the original game, he had a traditional bed placed in a pool of water (he is an alligator after all, but why he even bothered with a mattress is beyond me). In 2019, he now has a swanky hammock in a beach-themed area, complete with sand and palm trees.
