Sale trades in his bed for a classy new hammock in the Link’s Awakening remake

While almost everything we’ve seen so far in the Link’s Awakening remake has been incredibly faithful to the original source material, it seems that Nintendo is still applying a few subtle-yet-sensible cosmetic changes.

Sale, the owner of Sale’s House of Bananas on Toronbo Shores, has been given a notable furniture upgrade. In the original game, he had a traditional bed placed in a pool of water (he is an alligator after all, but why he even bothered with a mattress is beyond me). In 2019, he now has a swanky hammock in a beach-themed area, complete with sand and palm trees.

Originally, Sale had a traditional bed in a pool of water — the absolute madman.
