Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Event to feature Link’s Awakening

In light of Link’s remastered journey to Koholint Island, the next Spirit Board event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature Spirits related to Link’s Awakening (one of these things is not like the other). Titled “Return to Koholint,” players will be able to challenge select Zelda spirits for double the usual EXP during the event. Two new Spirits will also be making their debut: Link (Link’s Awakening) and Owl.

The event will begin worldwide this Friday, June 14 at 11pm local time, and ends Tuesday, June 18 at 11pm local time. If you are hyped for Link’s Awakening for the Nintendo Switch but can’t wait until it launches on September 20, this event might help hold you over.
