Over the past few holiday seasons, Nintendo has released several different ornament sets and string lights for their biggest franchises, Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda. Last year brought us both Mario and “Toon Link” ornaments through Hallmark’s Keepsake Ornaments line, and this year Hallmark and Nintendo are continuing the tradition.
Hallmark’s newest Zelda ornament draws inspiration from the classic art for the original NES game. It features Link with sword and shield in-hand, and with the press of a button the ornament will sound the familiar 8-bit theme song. The ornament will be available for order on October 6, 2018. It will include two replaceable LR44 batteries along with a box for storage and/or gift-giving.
If you need even more gaming cheer for your holiday celebration, Hallmark is also releasing a Mario Kart ornament and a Donkey Kong arcade cabinet ornament. Do you plan on getting any of these ornaments?
