The official website for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition was updated last week, now showcasing sections detailing various aspects of the upcoming release. The newly added sections now detail some of the playable characters, stages, modes, and gameplay mechanics for those interested.
Currently, the site only lists details for a fraction of the character roster, including Link, Lana, Zelda, Cia, Volga, and Wizzro, and won’t provide any new information for players returning from one of the previous iterations of Hyrule Warriors. Though only four stages are listed (Hyrule Field, Eldin Caves, Faron Woods, and Valley of Seers), it is expected that Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will feature all originally available stages. Game modes are also featured on a similar, albeit incomplete list, with only two game modes currently mentioned. Outside of the listed “Legend Mode” and “Free Mode”, we also know that “Ganon’s Fury” will be making a return after skipping out on Hyrule Warriors Legends.
In addition to these sections, which offer a better look at some elements in the game, the site provides some new screenshots and stage art, which are pretty incredible. Take a look at some of the beautiful shots down below!
Finally, a new extended trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition was released by Koei Tecmo’s official Japanese YouTube account, showing off some characters from the title. Watch the trailer below to catch a glimpse of the game’s sleek and stylish combat — Zelda style!
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is set to slash its way onto Nintendo Switch on March 22 in Japan, which hopefully means that a Western release will follow shortly.
