It is the beginning of the end for Miiverse which will finally come to a close on 7 November at 10pm PT and 8 November 1pm ET/6am UK/5am AET. As the end draws ever closer, a final ‘Everybody’s Message Community’ has been opened on the niche social media site, allowing any user to share their Miiverse memories and messages.
Launched in 2012 alongside the Wii U, before also coming to 3DS, Miiverse was a social media website that many Nintendo fans cherished and found rather charming in games such as Splatoon. Plus who can forget the magical moment of picking up a bottle with a message in it at sea in Wind Waker HD?

Players loved to bottle up their feelings on the shores of Hyrule
‘Everybody’s Message Community’ will only accept hand drawn messages, as NintendoTom states in his post, with the idea being that people can communicate more effectively through pictures, breaking down language barriers for users from across the world. Posts on the community may end up in a planned collage as a tribute to Miiverse as it bids farewell.

The closure of Miiverse will impact several games such as Wind Waker HD, Mario Kart 8 (preventing uploads to YouTube), Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, among other titles.
