With PAX West nearly upon us in early September, their official site has been updated to reveal some of the more notable events that are taking place. Interestingly, Nintendo is set to host what is being called a “special” panel in the Hydra Theater on September 2. The panel begins at 10am and lasts until 11am.

With such ambiguous wording, it’s anyone’s guess what may be in store that day. At past PAX West events, Nintendo typically focused on games that were coming out before the end of the year, so showings of Super Mario Odyssey and Metroid: Samus Returns are probably safe bets. Considering we still have the second batch of DLC for Breath of the Wild coming, there may be more news on that front.

Rest assured, we’ll be reporting any Zelda info that surfaces during the event!

I really hope they have more info on Champions’ Ballad. A gameplay trailer of the new features would be nice to see. Probably wouldn’t expect anything story-wise for a couple of months though.
