Among the more interesting amiibo functionalities of Breath of the Wild is that of the Wolf Link amiibo, which bestows the game’s protagonist with a four-legged friend to hunt down Bokoblins/ruin your Splinter Cell style camp infiltration. Originally released alongside the special edition of Twilight Princess HD on Wii U though, the figure has become one of the more difficult ones to locate on it’s lonesome. The scourge of amiibo-scarcity is still among us.

Luckily, it would appear that following the success of the Switch’s flagship launch game, Nintendo are restocking the Wolf Link amiibo this summer. Nintendo of America’s CPSIA page, which shows the amiibo currently going on production runs and lists manufacturing approvals, features the new Spatoon and Pikmin amiibo, as well as the remaining Smash Bros figures, alongside Wolf Link.

Fingers crossed then that those who missed out on Link’s canine form thus far will be able to get their hands on a figure soon without having to pay extortionate mark-ups on eBay. Now if we could just get a re-run of those Breath of the Wild figures…

Um, the title has a typo by the way, it’s wolf link, not wolk link.
