2017 is a great year for Zelda, and with the release of Breath of the Wild we want to make sure we can keep providing great Zelda content. To do so, we need a lead developer.
Being a lead developer would require a broad range of skills. Your primary job will be to lead the dev team. This means being responsible for the management and output of the entire development team and creating development tickets to be done during two-week sprints. This requires extensive technical knowledge, preferably on the front and back end. As such, only the most skilled applicants will be interviewed.
Besides leading the development process and making tickets, your other jobs will be solving problems during development or even doing development yourself.
Requirements consist of:
- good organizational skills.
- good communication skills.
How to apply
Does that sound like you? Great! Send us your application to [email protected]with the subject header “Lead developer application“. Here’s what you need to include:
- a detailed (but not unnecessarily long) overview of your previous working experience in development.
- a rough schedule of your availability.
- a resume or samples of your work if you have any (feel free to send links or attachments).
It may take us a little while for us to select the most suitable applicants, so please don’t feel discouraged if we don’t respond straight away (and please don’t spam us with repeated entries; it won’t help you!). It may take up to a week or longer before we pick you.
We’re very professional about what we do here, but we also have a ton of fun while doing it! We have a highly talented and very friendly team ready to welcome you. Please note that this is a voluntary position, so staff are not paid.
