Concerts celebrating Zelda’s 30th anniversary coming to Japan later this year

Celebrations for The Legend of Zelda’s 30th anniversary continue with three concerts to be held in Japan in October and December. A full orchestra, under the conduction of Taizo Takemoto, will play popular songs from the series alongside video footage on the big screen. The concert’s website also hints that special guests involved with Zelda’s history will appear during the show.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise available only at the concerts, and those who purchase the top-tier “Master Sheet” ticket will receive a set of memorabilia pins.

Concerts have been scheduled for Kyoto, Tokyo and Nagoya, on October 1, October 16 and December 14 respectively. Tickets are on sale now, with Master Sheet sales ending on July 5 and “A” and “S” ticket sales ending on July 11. There is no word on whether more concerts will be scheduled or if it will tour overseas like the 25th anniversary concerts and Symphony of the Goddesses did. For those of us not lucky enough to live in Japan, let’s hope they do!
