Nintendo has announced Ultimate NES Remix for the 3DS, which is set to launch on the eShop and at retail on December 5 in North America priced at $29.99. CVG states that the game will release on November 7 in Europe, though a UK price has not yet been announced.
Details beyond the game’s title are scarce. According to Destructoid, Nintendo states that the game features “16 of Nintendo’s finest 8-bit games,” and includes a “Championship mode” and regional leaderboards.
There are currently no screenshots or footage of the game, and it’s not yet clear if the game is completely new, a port of the original NES Remix or a combination of both of the previous games. My money’s on that third possibility — what do you think?
