Industry-wide software sales are down, but Nintendo is seeing some improvement, according to the US January NPD report. The Wii U and 3DS saw a 6 percent increase in software sales, 26 percent when normalized to a four week period.

In January alone, Pokemon X & Y sold over 125,000 copies, totaling over 3.25 million since its release. A Link Between Worlds reached 715,000 copies sold since its debut, just ahead of Super Mario 3D World for Wii U at 655,000.
