Over three years ago, Zelda Reorchestrated announced the development of a secret enterprise dubbed “Project Maranello”. This undertaking was unveiled in February 2011 along with a successful Kickstarter project to fund the project, which included the recording of a full-size choir. The ZREO crew took it from there. It has been a long wait, but the official release is almost upon us.
Along with a download release, Twilight Symphony will also be released as a physical album. I have had a look at the album art and can safely say that it is astoundingly beautiful! A very limited quantity of these have been put up for pre-order. The initial run of five hundred copies was sold within fourteen hours of them being available, so an additional 1,500 units have been made available. Get in quickly if you’d like to own one. Nonetheless, the downloadable release will no doubt still amaze the people who do not order the physical album.
It has been absolutely thrilling to watch this production grow from the initial Kickstarter project into the final release stages. The time and energy poured into the Twilight Symphony by its producers is staggering. I am incredibly excited about the upcoming release, slated for mid-November, and I hope you are as well!
