Nintendo of America has announced that they will be updating their Facebook with new game info every hour for the next 26 hours.

“E3 is a marathon, not a sprint. So we’re kicking off a marathon of game content! Starting right now, we’ll be delivering info about a new game every hour for the next 26.2 hours. Can you keep up? Don’t get left in the dust!”

What kind of awesome info could we get? Info on a new game series? A new Zelda? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Are they still doing the 3DS presentation tonight? If so, this might be good news that we could see a new Zelda on 3DS. Because this seems like it'll just give us more info on games that have already been announced.

  • I hope they mention a new zelda even if its a remake i dont care anymore.I've already played throught skyward sword and oot 3d so many times its not funny. If i dont even see a mentioning of a new zelda game i might scream.

Nothing but Zelda, Zelda and of course…Zelda!

I expect Nintendo to dish out some 1st party stuff (mainly Mario), and maybe 3rd party stuff if that's possible.

All I want is for Nintendo to announce that they're bringing Fire Emblem: Awakening over to NA.

    • Ninthunder

Fire Emblem is coming to the West, don't worry. It wasn't mentioned on stage, but Reggie told a group of journalists that Fire Emblem: Awakening will indeed be released in America!Unfortunately, there were no additional details on the game.

I stand corrected. This game was not presented, but they announced it online as part of their one-game-every-hour shtick!

Considering the dearth of new information yesterday, I do not want to set myself up for disappointment.

My best bet is that this will just be more information about the games they revealed yesterday.

So, like, has anything been announced? Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can't find anything they didn't already mention at the Nintendo conference. The only new title I've heard of is Fire Emblem 3DS.

Calm down, SS was only released last year, there'll be another Zelda soon enough.

      • gudfredur

I have to point out, though, that Mario 3D Land came out last year, and this year they announced not one but TWO NSMB games. I understand that series like Zelda are very labor intensive and take years, but this just comes off as a planning snafu.

Here's the problem. A new Super Mario or Zelda game would make a Wii U a must-have at launch. For Pikmin 3 and NSMBU (and possibly for the sake of a black Wii U) I can wait.

I'm a little disappointed in the overall feel of E3 this year, but it must be a lot of pressure on game companies as well. Just thinking about it, we have one year to pump out the next big thing/a handful of games people will be excited about. It must be a lot of pressure for all these companies. In other words, I'm disappointed with the results, but I'm not angry like Mr Caps up there. You know what they say. Good things come to those who wait. It's just the waiting that kills.
